Korean Language Exams in India

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) is the primary Korean language proficiency exam administered by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), an organization under the South Korean Ministry of Education. TOPIK is widely recognized and used to assess the proficiency of non-native speakers in the Korean language. To find information about Korean language exams in India, you can:

Embassy of the Republic of Korea in India: Contact the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in India or the Korean Cultural Centre in India. They may have information about Korean language education, exams, and resources.

Language Institutes and Universities: Check with universities or language institutes in India that offer Korean language courses. They may provide information on exams they use to assess proficiency or any partnerships with Korean language institutions.

TOPIK Official Website: Visit the official TOPIK website for the most up-to-date information on exam schedules, registration details, and test centers. The official website is managed by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED).

Please note that the availability of exams may have changed, and new developments may have occurred since my last update. Therefore, it’s advisable to check with relevant language institutions, universities, or diplomatic missions directly for the most current information on Korean language exams in India. Additionally, you may explore online options for Korean language learning and assessment if local
opportunities are limited.
