Chinese Language Exams in India

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, various Chinese language proficiency exams are recognized globally, and some may be available in India. Here are a couple of examples:

HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi): HSK is an internationally recognized Chinese language proficiency exam. It consists of six levels, ranging from HSK 1 (beginner) to HSK 6 (advanced). The exam assesses listening, reading, and writing skills in Mandarin Chinese.

YCT (Youth Chinese Test): YCT is a series of Chinese language proficiency exams designed for non-native speakers, particularly children and teenagers. It has four levels, ranging from YCT 1 to YCT 4, and assesses listening and reading skills.

To obtain the most accurate and up-to-date information about Chinese language exams in India, you can check with language institutes, universities, or cultural organizations that offer Chinese language courses. Additionally, you may contact Confucius Institutes or Chinese cultural centers in India, as they are often involved in promoting Chinese language education and may provide information on exams, test dates, and registration procedures.

Please note that the availability of exams may have changed, and new developments may have occurred since my last update. Therefore, it’s advisable to verify the information by checking official websites or contacting relevant language institutions directly for the latest details on Chinese language exams in India.
