French Language Exams in India

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don’t have specific information about French exams in India. However, there are several French language proficiency exams that are widely recognized globally, and some of them may be available in India. Here are a few examples:

DELF (Diplôme d Études en Langue Française): DELF is an official certification awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the proficiency of candidates in the French language. It is available at various levels (A1 to C2) and assesses different language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Françoise): DALF is also awarded by the French Ministry of Education and is a higher-level certification than DELF. It is available at levels C1 and C2 and assesses advanced language skills.

TEF (Test d’Évaluation de Français): TEF is an international French language proficiency test that assesses the general level of French language skills of non-native speakers.

TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français): TCF is another French language proficiency test that is often

used for academic and professional purposes.

To get the most accurate and up-to-date information, it is recommended to check with the official websites of language institutions, cultural organizations, or language centers in India that offer French language courses and certifications. Additionally, you can contact the Alliance Française centers in India as they are known for promoting French language and culture and may provide information on exams.
